they are also for the young at heart.
 
BUILDING CHARACTER
Both beginning and advanced actors will spend two half days immersed in the acting techniques used by professionals to create a character for the stage. This class will feature physical and vocal warm-ups, acting exercises, and monologue work. Students will be asked to come prepared with a memorized one-minute contemporary monologue  (beginning actors may come to Flint Rep and pick from a selection of monologues prior to the first day of class).
Fall 2018: Saturday, Oct 13 & Sunday, Oct 14 • 10am - 2pm •​ $100 per term​
 
IMPROVISATION
Both beginning and advanced actors will spend two half-days days immersed in the acting techniques of improvisation. This class will feature physical and vocal warm-ups, acting exercises, and improvisation games. No memorized material is needed.
Winter 2019: Saturday, Feb 23 & Sunday, Feb 24 • 10am - 2pm •​ $100 per term​
 
UNDERSTANDING SHAKESPEARE
Both beginning and advanced actors will spend two half-days days immersed in the acting techniques used by professionals to bring the words of William Shakespeare to life on stage. This class will feature physical and vocal warm-ups, acting exercises, and monologue work. Students will be asked to come prepared with a memorized one-minute Shakespearean monologue (beginning actors may come to Flint Rep and pick from a selection of monologues prior to the first day of class).
Spring 2019: Saturday, May 4 & Sunday, May 5 • 10am - 2pm •​ $100 per term
